I am Ora , born on 1959 in Jerusalem. From 1982 to 1985 I studied photography in WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education. My medium is photography and digital photomanipulation.
My art documents the visual dialog of everyday life. Urban paintings left behind by persons unknown, or randomly created by the residue of human activity in the space. Paintings created by nature, weeds and cracks that grew from the teeth of space and time. These are the little pieces of reality I play with, allowing them to grow in a process of change, wonder, mistakes and eventual discovery, into a new picture of reality.

In my creative process I engage in a visual discourse regarding questions of the hidden and the revealed in sensory perception – is what our eyes see the truth? Is it the entire truth? Or is it all illusory? Is there another reality, beyond the exposed but illusory reality, entirely hidden from our eyes but visible to other eyes, braver and more objective? To what degree is our image of “true” reality narrows, and how far can it expand if we deign to leave the familiar and bravely dive into ourselves and all that is hidden around us?
